I have an original early Alby alloy 'Frogeye' type light binnacle which I think was made by or for Albatross as it's anodised, unlike the latter Chromed 'winged' type which was bought in. (which I will also have for sale shortly).
This was fitted to the two seater & the Continental, although both eventually changed to the chrome type - probably due to cost!
The metalwork is in good condition. The lenses are not a very good fit for some reason - possibly heat warped - & the colours are faded, although I've tried to re-colour with clear enamels, prior to deciding not to use it.
Whilst not perfect, it's pretty good for being 50+ years old & would look fantastic on any early Albatross.
