Hi and thank you, it does look like a Dowty, fantastic. It actually performs like a real Dowty  :o

This is the link, but sadly I do not have any ladies to drive my model yet, so will have to ask Ken if his girlfriend is free  ;D

Following on is a video of some real Dowty's. Brilliant thank you Sausage.

The Dowty model lives again. I now have a great fibreglass expert and a remote control expert and this is where we are at. He is making the deck now, so it will then be all put together.

Pic 1 the new hull with no keel as per real Dowty
Pic 2 rough idea for flooring
Pic 3 jet

The engine is to be a Webra 6.5ccm water cooled petrol engine.

Hi,

I know this is quite an old thread now, just wondering how far you have got with it?

Also, as someone else interested in building a scale Dowty model for Radio control, I was wondering if you have come across any plans, or technical drawings of a Dowty at all?

Will

Try this site, it has many of the dimensions of the 14.6 and 15.6 models. Search around the site it is a friend of ours.
