Water cooled motor cycle engine
« on: December 24, 2013, 10:59:03 AM »
Does anyone have a compact 500 to 700 cc water cooled motorcycle engine, or a Seadoo 650 or 720 jet ski engine for sale?

If not anything small and compact that is water cooled to put into my Spitfire boat.

Just a reminder, does anyone have anything that might fit the bill?

Hey Luppi, if you think I am going to take the engine out of my beautiful Ducati Monster 900, then no  :o but it would sound good for sure. My Duke is the worst and best bike I have owned. It is far from a town bike as it has no manners and it either wants to stop or cruise at silly speeds. No it is staying in the bike.

Now there are a few Yamahas with water jackets, so I will keep looking. I do have a 3 ltr V6 Ford Essex engine now, but that simply will not fit in  :(

You are right about the price, mine has varied so much, but it is going up at the moment. Did you know you have committed a sin, by not having a red Duke  :o

All Italian cars and bikes have to be red or yellow  ;) I had a Lamborghini Espada many years ago and just like the Duke, I never knew if it would start and when I arrived, I never knew if I could get home, but what fantastic fun it was, as is the Duke  :D :D :D They are smiles all the while
