During the 'lock down' here in England, I have been experimenting with the wheel configuration of my tiny Mitcham Spitfire (outboard version) trailer.
I know the 8" wheels are OK, but then I tried the twin axle which was a disaster on such a small boat. It basically pitched where a heavy boat would absorb the weight. I used the lightest suspension and it still failed. I wanted to use the 4 wheels for safety in case of a puncture on a decent journey.
So during the long time at home, I decided to put 10" wheels on like I have on my Spitfire (jet version) as I know they work. This will allow me to travel a long distance with more absorption of pot holes and terrible roads when we are free
Having said all that, I think the 4 wheel version does look cool
